"Come to China with an open mind, not with expectations, and get over the fear," retired U.S. educator Ronald Sakolsky said. He noted that many Americans believe the whole world lives the way Americans do. "Chinese people do it the Chinese way. Learn about the different ways, take a little from each, and the world would be a better place," he said, urging young Americans to see China for themselves.
