On June 29, young representatives from China and the United States — participating in the Bond with Kuliang: 2026 China-U.S. Youth Baseball Exhibition Games and Sports Festival — visited Fuzhou Panda World and the Yantaishan Historic District. 

In their trip, the youths engaged with nature through ecological education and explored Fuzhou's rich cultural heritage — immersing themselves in the special blend of natural and historical attractions in the metropolis.

At the newly revamped Fuzhou Panda World, the teens got an up-close look at giant and red pandas while learning about panda conservation and ecological science. The park's naturalistic habitats highlight the biodiversity conservation efforts of the southeast coast. The tour allowed the visitors to expand their eco knowledge and appreciate the idea of living in harmony with nature.

In the Yantaishan Historic District, the ever-popular mix of Western and Chinese architectural styles showcases a century of international exchanges and the development of overseas communities, making it a key cultural landmark in Fuzhou.

Helped by bilingual guides, the youths strolled through the distinctive streets and historical sites, gaining insights into Yantaishan's history and Fuzhou's famed inclusive and open spirit.

Throughout the visit, the teenagers from both countries enjoyed great experiences that highlighted Fuzhou's ecological and cultural richness, breaking down language barriers and fostering mutual understanding.

Participants noted that the trip was both educational and enjoyable — offering a glimpse into the charm of national treasures and Fuzhou's deep cultural roots.

The educational activity, focusing on ecology and culture, added depth to the festival. Ongoing multicultural experiences continue to create opportunities for learning and understanding between Chinese and U.S. young folks — strengthening international friendships through cultural exchanges.
