The event this year will feature a dual-venue model for the first time and a record-setting total exhibition area exceeding 100,000 square meters. The main exhibition area will cover 74,000 square meters, further reinforcing its position as one of the world's leading professional fisheries exhibitions.
There will be a comprehensive range of themed exhibition zones, including international exhibitors, wild and deep-sea seafood products, aquatic processing, catering ingredients, packaging and processing equipment, "AI + Fisheries" advanced equipment, the Fujian modern fisheries industrial chain experience zone, aquaculture inputs and equipment, Fuzhou ornamental fish and intangible cultural heritage crafts as well as a leisure fisheries tourism zone.
More than 500 companies have confirmed their participation and over 30,000 professional buyers are expected to attend, underscoring the event's strong industry influence and commercial value.
To further advance international engagement, the expo will welcome participants from more than 30 countries and regions, including Russia, Ecuador, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
A major highlight of this year's edition is the establishment of a dedicated aquaculture pavilion in Hall 9, strengthening full industrial chain coverage. The expo will also host the 2026 Aquaculture High-Quality Development Conference, focusing on updated fisheries regulations and policy interpretation.
To enhance public engagement, Fuzhou will distribute exclusive consumer vouchers during the expo and host a seafood hotpot festival. A newly designed official mascot, "Xiao Fu Yu" (Little Fish of Blessings), will also make its debut, accompanied by a range of cultural and creative merchandise.
Signature events, such as a giant bluefin tuna cutting show, a thousand-person fish ball hotpot feast and an all-eel banquet will further enrich the visitor experience, showcasing Fuzhou's vibrant seafood culture and strong industry heritage.
