Southern Chinese martial arts heritage show draws crowds

On Jan 25, a heritage experience event featuring Minghe Fist was spectacularly staged in Fuzhou's Liangcuo Historic and Cultural District.

The event brought together more than a hundred martial arts enthusiasts, showcasing Fujian's southern martial arts heritage through performances of Minghe Fist, Baji Fist, nunchaku, and other provincial-level intangible cultural heritage practices. These dynamic displays offered residents and visitors a vivid glimpse into the rich diversity and deep cultural roots of traditional Fujian martial arts, while promoting their living inheritance and innovative development, ensuring that these treasured traditions remain vibrant in contemporary life.
