Popular attractions such as Sanfang Qixiang and West Lake Park are within 15 to 20 minutes by taxi from most downtown hotels.

For a more local experience, traditional wooden homestays along the river offer tea-tasting sessions and mountain views. In Fuzhou, Gulou district is ideal for easy access to historical and shopping areas, with mid-range hotels priced from 250 to 500 yuan per night.
