Representatives of the U.S.-China Business Council hosted a roundtable discussion on Dec 3 with a delegation led by Ren Hongbin, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Before the discussion, U.S.-China Business Council chief Sean Stein answered reporters' questions and insisted that U.S. firms are not leaving China. On the contrary, Stein said, more U.S. multinational companies are working with Chinese companies to develop joint ventures.
