The World Maritime Equipment Conference 2025, hosted by the People's Government of Fujian Province, will take place in Fuzhou city from October 16 to 19. Themed "Setting Sail Towards Green Development", this year's conference emphasizes technological innovation, industrial leadership and open cooperation.

Building on the success of previous editions, the conference introduces five key enhancements:

Enhanced role in demonstration and leadership

A dedicated exhibition showcases Fujian's achievements as a National Marine Economic Development Demonstration Zone. Using multimedia displays, models and interactive technologies, it highlights advances in marine industry, innovation and ecological protection in Fuzhou and Xiamen.

The conference strengthens its profile as a professional international event in natural sciences, with host universities and research institutes joining for the first time. It features 12 specialized exhibition zones and four sub-brands, covering green power technology, low-altitude economy, marine science and innovation, and many more. The Fujian Pavilion highlights local strengths in marine equipment, electric ships, offshore wind power and deep-sea aquaculture.

This year, the conference has built a multi-layered activity matrix with a "1+4+13" structure, including the opening ceremony, Fujian Marine Economy Industry Cooperation and Innovation Development Conference, a review and outlook on the National Marine Economic Development Demonstration Zone, the main forum of the Maritime Equipment Conference, marine science and technology innovation "Five-Chain Integration" activities and 13 sub-forums.
