Standing before the bullet-scarred walls of Nanjing's Guanghua Gate, we are transported back to a time of war and resistance. Minnie Vautrin sheltered tens of thousands of women and children; Chinese villagers risked their lives to save Flying Tigers. In those darkest hours, China and the United States stood shoulder to shoulder to protect life and hope. Eighty years later, how will this shared memory shape the youth of today?
