Martha Smalley, born in 1951, serves as a Special Collections Consultant at the Yale University Divinity School Library.

With a master's degree in American history from Trinity College and a master's degree in education from Southern Connecticut State University, she has been an integral part of the library since 1975. Martha has been instrumental in aiding and managing historical collections. Her significant contributions include assisting Elyn MacInnis, the founder of Friends of Kuliang, in locating and verifying various archival materials concerning the American Friends of Kuliang.
