This February, Gushan's breathtaking floral scenery took the spotlight on China Central Television (CCTV), featuring on prominent programs such as Live News and Xinwen Lianbo. It's not the mountain's first brush with fame—back in February 2023, its stunning blooms were showcased four times, with their seasonal charm shared with audiences across the country and highlighting the success of Gushan's plum blossom cultural preservation.

With a long-standing tradition of plum tree cultivation, Gushan is now Fuzhou's largest urban plum blossom viewing area, home to over 3,000 plum trees of various species. Each mid-February, the mountain comes alive in shades of pink and white, drawing in visitors eager to stroll beneath the blossoms, breathe in their delicate fragrance, and capture this fleeting beauty with phones and cameras.
