Zhu Xiaoming

Mrs. Zhu Xiaoming, Dean of the Yangtze River Delta Carbon Neutrality Strategy Development Institute, has served as Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Jiangsu Province, Mayor of Zhenjiang City, Director of the Bureau of Statistics of Jiangsu Province, and Director of the Minzu and Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress.

Mrs. Zhu has long been engaged in strategic research and policy formulation on development planning, regional economy, industrial policy, green and low carbon, and has presided over the drafting of five Five-Year National Economic and Social Development Plans of Jiangsu Province. Directly appointed by the China Finance Office, she has presided over the completion of the "Study on the Strategic Ideas and Initiatives for the Development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt", and has taken the lead in the completion of dozens of research projects commissioned by national ministries and commissions, Jiangsu Province, and local provinces and municipalities, such as the "Study on the Major Initiatives to Promote the Integration and Development of the Yangtze River Delta at a Higher Quality".

In 2015, she participated in the 21st United Nations Climate Change Conference; she also participated in the 28th United Nations Climate Conference in 2023. In 2018, she was awarded the "Global Green Low Carbon Excellence - Blue Sky Award" by UNIDO (the only recipient in China).
