The 2024 "Bond with Kuliang" China-U.S. Youth Festival opened in Fuzhou, east China's Fujian province. It centers on the theme of "Carrying Forward the Bond with Kuliang and Deepening Friendship", bringing together around 500 young people from various sectors in China and the U.S., to participate in a series of activities focused on the bond between the two nations, the diversity and inclusiveness of Chinese culture and climate change.

Youth from different sectors in China and the U.S. gather in Fuzhou to revisit the stories of Kuliang, inherit the bond with Kuliang and enhance exchanges and understanding between the peoples of China and the United States.
