Kuliang, a mountain ridge located in the urban area of Fuzhou city, was once an important window for cultural exchanges. In the late 19th century, a large number of Western businessmen, missionaries, and consular officials came to Kuliang, where they built schools, hospitals, and international benevolent societies.

At the exhibition hall, visitors can catch a glimpse of the time these expatriate families spent in China. The Kuliang Historical Architecture Exhibition Hall showcases the architectural style and evolution process of the Kuliang villas to the public. Through a timeline, the exhibition hall presents the discovery process of Kuliang historical buildings, the changes of houses, and the friendly interactions in the construction and management process of houses at home and abroad. Exhibits in the hall, such as land deeds in Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), precious photos, and 3D-printed villa models, make visitors feel as if they have traveled back a hundred years ago to experience the charm of that era firsthand.
